Georgia Chamberlain (Raven-Symoné) is an aspiring actress from the south who wants to become a household name, so she moves to New York City with her science geek best friend (Delfino). Georgia’s ex-boyfriend (Cuchna) who is still madly in love with her, comes to New York to bring her back home.
State of Georgia is an upcoming American television situation comedy. It stars Raven-Symoné, Majandra Delfino and Brock Cuchna. The show is currently in production and is expected to premiere on ABC Family on June 29, 2011. Ten episodes have been ordered.
The series will also be Raven-Symoné’s first sitcom in four years since her lead role in That’s So Raven on Disney Channel.
